In my case, they've helped me stand just a bit taller than my fiance does. She is also my colleague, and these shoes have been especially helpful at social events that we attend frequently together. She is about 1.5 inches taller than I am without shoes. With these shoes I stand about a half inch to one inch taller than she does.Rate
It took me a few days to get used to walking in these. It does feel very different from waling on regular shoes of any kind.
She says she doesn't care about our height difference, but in our society there remain some unfortunate social roles and conventions that affect a man and a woman in a relationship, and these shoes have made a positive difference for me and I see it in her demeanor when we attend social events together.
